Dr. Martin Gibala is a professor and chair of the Department of Kinesiology at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. He studies the integrative physiology of exercise at the molecular to whole body level, including the impact of training and nutrition on human health and performance. Gibala's research on the physiological adaptations to interval training has attracted immense scientific attention and worldwide media coverage.
